Join us for an engaging and interactive two-hour workshop exploring Jainism, a South Asian religion centered on non-violence, devotion, and renunciation. This event brings together Jain community members, Rutgers students, researchers, and anyone curious about Jainism for an inspiring exchange of ideas. Whether you're studying Jainism, practicing it, or simply eager to learn, this is your chance to discuss what aspects of Jain traditions—rituals, literature, philosophy, narratives, and more—should be highlighted in research and teaching. Come share your insights, brainstorm with others, or just sit in for your first introduction to this fascinating tradition! RSVP required (to tillo.detige@rutgers.edu)—don’t miss out on this unique opportunity. 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Department of Religion (Alexander Library - 398)
