The broad mission of the W. M. Keck Center for Collaborative Neuroscience Center is to conduct research, educate, and provide outreach in neuroscience and regenerative medicine.
Neuroscience and regenerative medicine research seek fundamental knowledge about normal and diseased conditions of living systems. That knowledge is applied to enhance health, reduce illnesses, and ameliorate disabilities. Our current understanding of the biological functions of a living organism is enormously complex. As a Center, we bring together a broad base of expertise to facilitate the exchange of ideas, provide a setting to build collaborations and expand our research and outreach. Shared Center resources, access to cutting-edge equipment, and availability of technical skillsets provided by critical personnel allow an impactful means to build scientific collaborations between and across departments, schools, universities, industry, and communities.
